Can I obtain a marriage license for a couple?
No. The couple needs to do this. If the couple lives in Rhode Island, they can go to the Town Hall of the town/city they live in. If a couple lives outside of Rhode Island, they need to go to the Town Hall of the town/city they are getting married in.
How long is a marriage certificate good for?
In Rhode Island the marriage certificate must be used within 90 days of issuance, so plan accordingly.
Do you marry same sex couples?
